Leon O’Hagan is a Senior Informatics Pharmacist at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin, with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. He is a core member of the national Maternal & Newborn Clinical Management System (MN‑CMS) Informatics Pharmacist team, where he leads work on electronic health record optimisation, near real‑time analytics, and digital medicines safety across Ireland’s maternity, neonatal and gynaecology services.

In 2025, he was elected by his peers to the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, reflecting the trust and recognition of the pharmacy community.

Leon O’Hagan holds a Master’s in Pharmacy from Queen’s University Belfast and a Diploma in Healthcare Innovation from Trinity College Dublin.

Before fully committing to pharmacy, he studied Audio Engineering and Production at SAE Liverpool – and today, when he’s not transforming digital healthcare, you’ll likely find him at a music festival, especially Glastonbury.
