Dr Anna Gawrońska is a healthcare logistics and digital health expert with 22 years of experience in improving patient safety through digital solutions. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Poznań University of Economics and Business and an MBA in Healthcare. She is affiliated with the Department of Logistics at the Poznań University of Business and Economics, where she combines academic research with advisory and project collaboration in e‑health and hospital logistics.
Her areas of expertise include hospital logistics, digital health, data standards (GS1, HL7), and the management of medical product flows. She has authored a monograph and over 100 publications, contributing significantly to the advancement of digital health in Poland and beyond.
Dr Gawrońska is a Board Member of HL7 Poland, Ambassador of the Polish Hospital Federation, Expert of the Hospital Safety Coalition Council, and a Member of the Polish Economic Society. Her work has been recognised with the prestigious “Polka XXI” award in the Health category.
She firmly believes that barcode scanning saves lives – both of patients and healthcare staff.
