Pediatric pharmacy, medication safety and health literacy, and international/military pharmacy practice; renowned for pioneering the use of pictograms to improve medication comprehension among vulnerable populations worldwide.

Over 40 years of pharmacy leadership, including 16 years as Director of Pharmacy at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and 25 years as a Senior Military Pharmacist (retiring as Lieutenant Colonel, Canadian Armed Forces). Recipient of the Order of Military Merit and the CSHP Excellence in Pharmacy Practice – Leadership Award; past President of the Ontario College of Pharmacists and of Pharmacists Without Borders Canada.

Doctor of Pharmacy, University of Toronto; Bachelor of Pharmacy, Université Laval. Fellow of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, the International Pharmaceutical Federation, and the Ordre des Pharmaciens du Québec.

Outside of his clinical work, Régis is passionate about mentoring the next generation of pharmacists and advancing health literacy around the world.
