Prof. Zbigniew A. Doniec, MD, PhD, is a paediatric pulmonologist, allergologist, public health specialist, academic teacher and healthcare leader.

He serves as Director of the Institute of Medicine at the Podhale University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Targ, Poland, and is President of the Polish Society for the Digitalisation of Medicine and Pharmacy as well as President of the Polish Society of Phytotherapy.

He is also associated with the National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases in Rabka-Zdrój. His work focuses on respiratory medicine, paediatrics, allergology, phytotherapy, medical education, clinical research, telemedicine and the responsible implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in healthcare.

With more than three decades of clinical, academic and organisational experience, he has led and contributed to numerous national and international scientific, educational and innovation initiatives linking medicine, pharmacy and digital transformation.
